bobbing war memorial

This war memorial appears to be made of marble mounted on stone. The names are arranged in Regimental order and are carved into the marble. The regimental badges of the fallen are carved into the sides of the memorial. A few of the men were killed with other units than those listed indicating transfers during service.
In all this is probably one of the most impressive village memorials i have seen.
There are several other private memorials on the walls which will also be dealt with below.
